Donnie Pick - Lead:
Although fluent in many styles of music ranging from Bluegrass, Country,
Folk, Zydeco and Rock & Roll, Donnie sets his musical sights on the
Blues/Rock genre. Originally from Nashville , TN, Donnie toured
extensively. After his road stint, he decided to front his own group,
Donnie Pick & the Road Band, and began playing clubs and events around
the Fox Valley. |
| Audiences here have stood up and took notice of his soulful,
rock-in, bluesy sound. Attending a DP & The Road Band show will send
you home knowing you witnessed something truly remarkable. |

Rick Smith - Bassist: A native of Northeast Wisconsin,
Rick has been a familiar figure on the Wisconsin music scene for
decades. His deep steady groves provided a foundation for many local and
regional acts. Touring with Jazz/Blues lady Mary Jaye, Blues greats
Bryan Lee, Larry Byrne (Luther Allison) and Wisconsin's own Mike "Big
Dog" Murphy. Career highlights have been performing a week long gig with
the original Righteous Brothers and laying down grooves on Bourbon
Street in New Orleans. A true "bluesman" heart and soul. |

Ory Green - Drums: A
native of Ventura, California Ory is the back bone of The Road Band. His
influences range From the Allman Bros to Zappa. Ory started beatin' the
skins in the 80’s and now with over 20 years experience he still loves
jamming and sipping Jack Daniels. |

Erik Meyer - Horns:
Lives in Stevens Point, WI and is finishing a music degree from UWSP. A
native of Appleton, WI, Erik fits in well with the Road Band and is right at
home playing the blues and blowing over the changes. Other musical
interests include jazz and avant-garde composition. Some of Erik's major
influences are horn legends Stan Getz, Michael Brecker, Sonny Rollins,
Stanley Turrentine, and Clarence Clemons and also blues artists Ray
Charles and B.B. King. Erik performs as a freelance musician across the
state and enjoys building and riding custom motorcycles in his spare
time. |
